  • Sounds like another general is going under the bus for disagreeing. I am not a cheerleader for any party but, I thought I heard someone say that they were changing generals in Afghanistan because they wanted to get a truer picture of what was happening there.

  • Why is it that whenever the price of gas goes down beyond a certain point there is always a refinery fire that very few if any people are hurt??? It is then used as an excuse to raise the price of gas or heating fuel. Just strange.

  • He said two complaints were received — in 2006 and 2007 — about dogs. But after DCFS officials made unannounced visits, dogs were only found in the garage and not near children. They did know and reported it. Nothing was done.
